While standing in line for lunch:
Boy 1: Want a piece of gum?
Boy 2 (aghast): Not now!

"Ugh, this part is the worst because everyone walks here and packs down the snow and makes it slick."

"...and then he was covered in puke and he started to whimper, like this, 'Ugh, ugh, ugh'!"

"All the cheerleaders wanted to go to Costa Vita and then we got home at ten instead of eight!"

"It's due tomorrow, isn't it? Or is it due today? I better check....HOLY CRAP IT'S DUE TODAY!"

Overheard in the course of a normal day:

"I love having Tutoring third hour. I can get all of my homework done during that time. Except Algebra, since it's second hour."

"You don't have a feather?! Get a feather! Get something!"

"You have to be serious, okay? No goofing off. Just keep that in your brain everyday. Stay serious."

"...and then some carpet salesmen showed up, and I was just like, 'Can we wrap this up here? My hand is bleeding everywhere!'"

"Tell her I'll be there to help her in, I just have to put this table away."
